Question of the Week – What’s Your Favorite Pair of Shoes?
Answer – This is tough! I love my Dr. Martens Adita Bondage sandals and my Sketchers Black Rainbow shoes (what I wear to the gym). I just bought a pair of Spring Step Bach Booties and I’m anxiously awaiting for them to arrive.

  1. I have a pair of eggplant Docs which I looove. I love that they look almost black but in sunlight they’re a gorgeous deep purple. I have foot issues so I am limited in the kinds of shoes I can wear — nothing over a one inch heel, for example.

  2. The pair I wear the most would be Dr Martens Leanne boots. They’ve got a super comfy wedge heel, and look good with just about anything. I wish I’d have bought a second pair.

  3. That’s a tricky one for me too. Although as I get older, the number of shoes I have gets smaller. Once upon a time I had shoes to match every outfit…. I have got rid of a lot over the years. You know, the ones that never really fit well. so now I am into comfortable yet stylish shoes.
Number 1 pick – my mid heel black ankle boots from a NZ company called Zierra. I have had them for a few years now and they have been resoled once. Even the boot maker was impressed with the design.
Number 2 – Naot shoes – you have the brand in the US too. Very expensive so I go to the sales – My navy Naot ankle boots – just fantastic – comfortable and wearable all day long. I also have quite a few of their flatties as well – in brown, burgundy and navy. Love coloured shoes.
Number 3 – For summer – I have several Naot summery shoes that have an enclosed toe and heel. I need these for teaching. Yard duty, lots of walking around. I have them in black, a steely blue and red.

    1. I’m very picky about shoes, too. If they’re not comfortable to wear, they go back. I’ve injured my back from wearing shoes without arch support and standing for long periods of time, so it’s something I’ve had to pay attention to. I need to get a pair of pretty burgundy shoes!
