2. Thanks for the overview, it has gotten me thinking about what I want or don’t want in this collection.

   Do you think there is anything unique in the Naked Ultimate Basics if someone already as Naked Basics and Naked Basics 2? I also have the Kat Von D Shade and Light eye shadow palette and it also seems to have very similar shades.

10. Oh man, it is going to be hard to actually ask for those lipstick palettes as gifts and not just buy them for myself! (My family has a horrible track record of actually getting stuff I ask for. My closet full of terrible Bath&Body Works shower gels is proof.) I never wear anything remotely brown toned on my lips but Conspiracy and Amulet are both so beautiful! I really hope these aren’t insanely hard LE to get ahold of. Thanks for the great video!

12. Sad to say Phyrra, but I am not really liking the UD Holiday Collection that much. Firstly, I am not a fan of lip palettes (I can’t put them in my handbag) and although many of the chocolate brown shades are my kind of shades, I am also not a lip glossy lover.
    Secondly, the eye shadow palette of mattes. I am not fond of mattes or overly warm toned ones. The lovely grey shade is particularly patchy in swatches I have seen. So an easy pass for me.
    I love the shiny eye liners – I think the colours are great.

    1. I knew you wouldn’t like the palette since it’s all matte. I normally don’t like lip palettes, but this will fit into my larger makeup bag. The liquid moondusts are spectacular though!

13. I keep almost but not buying the cream shadows. The colors just aren’t quite interesting or unique enough for me to justify adding them to my stash (and in related news, I’m wondering when a “stash” becomes a “hoard.”)

    Also: at least on mobile, some really annoying and hard to dodge redirect ads are coming through on your site with every page load. Don’t know what ad service you use.
