Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette Hush Blush
Hush Blush

I wanted to share my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette swatches with you. I think Hush may be my favorite from the palette. I think it looks fantastic on my skintone. Be sure to check out the rest of the Gwen Stefani Makeup Collection. UD sent me this palette.

I thought OC looked weirdly yellow on me. I was hoping it would be more peach-pink.

This blush, I suspect, is meant for people to use as a highlighter. But as you can see, it’s too dark for that on  me. However, I think it’s a really nice nude blush on  my skintone. I like this one a lot.

This one is very pretty.

I like this one a lot but I think it will look chalky on deeper skintones.

I still think this one is too warm / orange for me.

  1. I agree, I love your faves on you-the nude is nice, Hush and Cherry are really nice on you. Thanks for the swatches-that was my concern that some of the shades would be a bit on the orangy/too warm side, but the others I do like, from the photos they don’t like “too shimmery” I try to avoid ultra shimmer because it can be too much on my oilier skin-but overall so pretty!

  2. So glad you posted the full face pics – I really loved this palette in the promo photos, but I don’t think it’s for me after all! I just can’t see a lot of those colors working for my skintone.

  3. Wow this is a whole new look for you!! It’s… I don’t know… I can’t really put my finger on it… but it’s a good different I promise hah! Beautiful as usual, and the palette is gorgeous!

  4. Thanks for the full face pictures. This helps me decide that I will not be buying this palette because only two of the shades would work on me. They look lovely on you however with the exception of OC which looks a bit odd. I actually think Lo-Fi looks good with the red lipstick.

    1. Yeah OC is strange! It looks yellow on me. I wanted to do full face shots with the lip products and the blushes because I thought it would help people get a better feel for how they look / perform.

  5. I don’t think they’d work with my skintone. That lipstick though – I think it’s one of the two I thought I’d like (and was surprised how much I like 714 based on how it looks in your pic). I think matte or velvet blush looks better on me than anything with a sheen. I might also be uninterested because I’m tired of the glut of highlighters (not to mention contouring).

      1. I’m trying so hard not to buy it. But, I’m fairly sure I have no duplicate. Honestly, I thought I’d always have to use only blue-leaning reds. But, this one looks so good. And if it’s got a nice texture as well, it’ll be very difficult to not eventually give in.

  6. I love the palette – but I think some of the shades would be too orangey on me. OC does look strangely yellow on you – I agree. I did like the LoFi one though. It’s great to see them worn the way you have shown us as it shows what they look like in real life. I liked Easy and Cherry blush the best on you.

    1. I really didn’t expect OC to turn yellow, sooo strange! I think Hush and Easy are gorgeous. I definitely think several of these shades lean very warm.

  7. I love the palette, though I’m not sure about Lo-Fi. I don’t think it looks awful on you, but it’s not the most flattering, either. That is so strange that OC turned yellowish on you, but it definitely did. I wonder how it would look layered over Cherry. OC seems like a layering blush to me. Hush and Easy are my favorites.

  8. Love the review, thank you! It confirms that the palette as a whole is not worth it with only 2 blushes that would work for me. Love love love those red lips on you!

    1. Thank you! Yeah not all the blush shades work on me – I think this is meant for slightly darker / warmer skin than mine, but not too dark because then some of the shades would be ashy.

  9. You look beautiful in these pics! I really like Easy and Hush on you. I’m so tempted to get this. I own a million eyeshadow palettes, but no blush palettes. LOL.

  10. Thank you . My decision for 2016 is not to buy any more blushes maybe a makeupgeek blush
    This looks gorgeous on you

  11. Yaay the blushes! Love Hush on you! I agree it fits you really well. Same with Angel though! OC indeed looks very odd, what is up with that?! You’re rocking those red lips by the way 😀

    1. Yeah Hush is sooo gorgeous! Angel reminds me a bit of NARS Nico, only I think it’s more flattring. No idea what’s up with OC. So strange! And thank you, I looove how the red looks. 714 is AMAZING though, the matte red lipstick. Love that formula.
