Top 10 Beauty Time Savers Multi Taskers

Happy Top Ten Tuesday! Today we’re sharing our Top 10 Time Saving Beauty Products. My products are products that I feel multi-task well and save me time when I’m in a hurry. All products are cruelty free and I’ve got several vegan goodies in here too.

Top 10 Time Saving Beauty Products

1. Cover FX CC Cream Time Release Tinted Treatment SPF 30 (vegan)
While I don’t rely on any makeup for my SPF (I use a moisturizer with SPF for that), I LOVE this product! It has added SPF, which I see as a bonus. It also contains Licorice Root which helps to reduce hyperpigmentation and it’s full of anti-aging ingredients.  It’s a great multi-tasker, plus it’s vegan! This is really a good skin food.

  • complexion correction
  • extra spf
  • anti-aging
  • helps with hyperpigmentation

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo in general is great, but I’m picky and only like two brands. Batiste is by far the best, in my opinion.  It gives me volume, soaks up oil, and saves my hair color.

  • Soaks up oil
  • Adds volume

3. NARS the Multiple
NARS Multiple sticks are good for cheeks, lips and eyes. If you use a matte one, you can use it as blush / contour. I don’t like these on my lips, but they work for that in a pinch. I like them best as  blush / contour.

  • blush
  • contour
  • lips
  • eyes

4. Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil
Thes are long wearing on me for my cheeks, not as long for my lips. They give my cheeks the perfect amount of color and just a hint to my lips. I could use them in a pinch on my lips. Everlasting Honey is my favorite shade.

  • cheeks
  • lips

5. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Primer (vegan)
This fabulous lotion is not only a great facial primer and moisturizer, it’s soothing for skin whenever it’s irritated because it contains chamomile. It’s also a good eyeshadow primer, too. It’s the only face primer I’ve felt comfortable using as an eye primer.

  • moisturizer
  • skin soother
  • face primer
  • eye primer

6. DermOrganic Spray Therapy (vegan)
I love this! It’s an argan oil spray. This is basically a nourishing product in my hair. Argan oil can be used all over the face, body, cuticles etc, but I think it’s amazing in my hair.

  • speeds up blow dry time
  • eliminates frizz
  • adds softness
  • enriched with Omega-6, Lipids, Antioxidants, Vitamin E and Natural Moisture Factors (aka good things for your hair to soak up)

7. Waxelene Petroleum Jelly Alternative
This is a new product that I was recently turned on to and I love it! It’s like petroleum jelly except it’s eco friendly, all natural, no GMOs. You can use it to moisturize anywhere. It’s only made from 4 ingredients – soybean oil, beeswax, vitamin E oil and rosemary oil. I don’t like the smell but it fades fast. It smells like rosemary to me.

  • smoothing down unruly eyebrow hair
  • soothing chapped lips
  • rubbing into cuticles
  • moisturizing rough spots on the body
  • moisturizing dry spots on the face
  • for eczema or psoriasis
  • to remove makeup (apparently celebrity makeup artists who work on Halle Berry and Kristen Wiig use it for this purpose)
  • as a base for lipstick
  • to eyelid for dewy look
  • to reduce skin irritation

8. Fake Bake Mistifier
this is a new to me product. Rather than slather on a body lotion and wait for it to soak in, I’ve started using the Fake Bake Mistifier, which sprays on moisture that absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated for a long time.

  • quickly moisturizes
  • long lasting moisture

9. Supergoop!Acaifusion or Mintfusion SPF 30 Lip Balm
I love this stuff! The AcaiFusion is tinted but you can barely see the tint. The Mintfusion is my favorite. It’s got Shea butter so it’s deeply moisturizing for my lips and it has SPF 30. It does double duty as lip balm and sun protectant.

  • lip moisturizer
  • spf protection
  • soothing

10.  Dr. Dennis Gross SkincareAll-in-One cleanser with Toner (vegan)
This cleanser has been recommended to me repeatedly recently but I have not yet tried it. It’s supposed to be perfect for sensitive skin. It cleans a tones, preparing your skin for moisturizer.

  • soothing
  • cleansing
  • toning

One bonus time-saving item is the All Natural Face gel eyeliner pot in Peach Ice. It’s an airless pump style packaging. This color is a really nice eye brightener. It can be used as an eye primer and eyeshadow in one. It will really brighten up your eyes, making you look more awake. This is not waterproof but it is smudgeproof. It pretty much stays on unti you wash it off.

  1. I really like The Multiples. I bought a bunch of refills (from when they came in a palette) on allcosmeticswholesale.com (not affiliated) and put them in a Z Pallette. They are all laid out where I can see them and I like to mix and blend several together.

  2. Your list is so complete. I love that you told all the benefits of each product. And I thank you for convincing me to look into the CoverFX CC Cream since it’s wonderful.

  3. THANKS FOR ALL THE TIPS! I was just looking at Dr Gross yesterday! He got great reviews! I also LOVE all in one products!!! A great time saver!!! But I still love ALL MY MAKEUP!!!

  4. I love this post. There are several things I’d like to try. I really want to try the Waxelene.

    1. Alba also makes one: Alba Un-Petroleum Multi-Purpose Jelly. It’s not vegan, because it contains beeswax. Here are the ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol. (Also from the company copy: 100% Vegetarian. No: Animal Testing, Artificial Colors, Parabens, Phthalates, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Myreth Sulfate)

I have been using it on a daily basis and really like it thus far! It comes in a squeeze tube.
