Too Faced Semi Sweet Smoky Chocolate Bar Cruelty-Free Tutorial

Too Faced Semi Sweet Smoky Chocolate Bar Cruelty-Free Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a new tutorial, my Too Faced Semi-Sweet Smoky Chocolate Bar cruelty-free tutorial. It’s way too easy for me to get caught up in obsessing over new palettes, so I thought it would be nice to pull out the Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette and show it some love. This is a great tutorial for hooded eyes, though it will work on other eye shapes too! For more hooded eye tips check out my celebrity inspired hooded eye tips!

1. Start with Coconut Creme as a base shade on the browbone and hood.
2. Apply Licorice to the lid, lower lid, and then apply to the hood in the dome shape, not going past the inner or outer corners of the lid.
3. Use Puddin’ to blend out the edges of Licorice on the hood. Blend Puddin’ into Licorice at the lower lid.
4. Blend Blueberry Swirl into the lower lid.
5. Use Coconut Creme to blend out the edges of Puddin’.
6. Spritz elf studio makeup mist & set on a brush, then pat Pink Sugar onto the inner 3/4 of the lid.
7. Highlight under the brows and at the inner corner. Add mascara.

Fairy Girl Lipstick in Angel

Lips 2
OCC Colour Pencil in Tarred
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in NaYeon

Between the two lip looks, I prefer NaYeon to Angel. The formula on NaYeon is awesome. I used OCC’s Tarred to outline the lips, and then put NaYeon on. It’s pigmented and applies easily and feels very comfortable to wear. It’s a vast improvement in formula over my other Studded Kiss lipsticks. Angel didn’t feel like it was very pigmented. Angel does smell like chocolate though, which is nice.

This is definitely my favorite look that I’ve created with the Semi-Sweet palette. Which lip look do you like better?

What’s your favorite way to wear the Semi-Sweet Palette?

  1. SO PRETTY!!!!!! I love the original Chocolate Bar and am in LOVE with the new Chocolate Bon Bons Palette. *time to complete the set* XD I loooooooove how you used Pink Sugar! And the BtW foundation in Snow looks amazing on you. YAY for more shades!!! <333

My favorite lip look is NaYeon! The delicate sparkles and finish are beautiful!!! Glad to hear the formula has improved. LOOKS AWESOME.

  2. This is a Fantastic Look for You! Is the Purple Shimmery Color Part of the Semi-Sweet Too Faced Palette? I Don’t Have This One but I Do Have the First One! Great Palette Indeed! Have a Great Day Beautiful Girl!

  3. This look is amazing on you! I love it. I’m a sucker for a smokey eye and a pop of color.

  4. Love your tutorials! I was wondering if you’d be interested in doing a dark circle puffy eye conceal/correct tutorial? I’ve seen a few but they’re not for us ghost like pale girls. (Aside from the Goth makeup tutorials haha) I’m having some issues finding a concealor that is one shade lighter than my skin but not white. Any tips that I’m sure you have up your sleeve would be well appreciated 🙂

  5. This is beautiful. I love the shimmer on the lid to brighten it up. I haven’t touched the Blueberry yet but seeing this gives me a little courage.

  6. Beautiful look. I’m glad you showed Semisweet some love. I prefer the Nayeon look, also.

  7. Wow, you can even pull off the blackened lips, amazing! I love this EOTD because your green eyes look so gorgeous, and there’s even some purple sheen from the “pink and gold swirl” on your lid that’s beautiful.
