On the left side of the picture I have Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation in Fair on my skin. On the right side I’m wearing no foundation. Fair is darker than my skintone. I believe the Cocoa Powder Foundation actually launched with Fall and not Spring.

Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big, Ross & Rachel swatches

Carrie & Big
Light to medium bronzer with slight shimmer combined with the perfect pop of coral blush

Ross & Rachel
Medium to deep bronzer with slight shimmer combined with the perfect pop of pink blush

I really adore the packaging for the bronzing hearts! It’s so cute! I also love the design in the powder…

I’ve got a confession to make. I was never a Friends fan. I didn’t care about Ross and Rachel. I watched some of Sex and the City, so I did like Carrie & Big.

If you have extremely pale skin like I do, you will find these too dark and orange. However, if you’re in the more normal range of foundation shades, they will probably be quite flattering.

Too Faced Melted Lipsticks
Sugar – Frosting – Strawberry – Velvet

In my video I compare Sugar & Peony, Frosting & Nude, Strawberry & Ruby, Velvet and Berry.

I feel like Velvet and Berry are close. I love Strawberry and I think it’s a much brighter red than Ruby. Ruby is a great blue-toned red. I found both Frosting and Sugar surprisingly wearable. I wasn’t sure if they would look good on me because they’re so light. Sometimes colors like that (ones that verge on pastel), make me look strange.

Row 1 – Caramel – Bon Bon – Peanut Butter – Pink Sugar
Row 2 – Mousse – Truffled – Cocoa Chili – Frosting

Caramel
warm golden copper metallic

Bon Bon
warm peachy copper metallic

Peanut Butter
warm orangey-brown matte

Pink Sugar
warm sheer golden pink sparkles, this needs to be layered on top of other colors. It’s barely visible on my hand.

Mousse
warm light milky brown matte

Truffled
warm milk chocolate brown matte

Cocoa Chili
warm dark brown matte with hints of gold

Frosting
warm bronze metallic with brown  undertones

Overall, I really can see why Too Faced calls this a caramel themed palette with all the peachy / copper / orange toned shades. Aside from Pink Sugar, which just kind of sucked, the rest of the colors were nice. I wish that Blueberry Swirl was more blue and less grey toned, but I think that also is what makes it perfect for people who are afraid of color!

My favorites from Spring are the eyeshadow palette and the Melted lippies. I can’t wait to try the other shades!

What do you think of the Too Faced Spring 2015 Collection?

  1. I can’t decide if I want the palette yet, it looks similar to the original one (which I already have)

  2. I’m hoping you’ll get Melted Villain and do some comparisons with your other liquid purples. I like the new Semi-Sweet, but it just isn’t different enough for me to run out and get it. I’ll wait for a sale… Do love that chocolate scent, though!

  3. I am in love with those heart compacts, they are so cute. Girl… you look fabulous. I was a big fan of friends, I still find myself stopping on reruns and laughing. 😉 Oh – your swatches… are stunning.

  4. Hey there Phyrra, your eyes look gorgeous with this look and the blue on the waterline. Can you do a tutorial on this look with the same products, including the mascara? I would love to try this look at home. Thank you!

  5. When I first saw the Chocolate Bar shadows I thought “I like this too much it has to be a limited edition” so glad to find out they aren’t. I’m warm toned so it is very helpful to know the semi-sweet has more warm colors in it.

  6. Here is one of the new shades of Melted that just came out, Villain! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/164311086380623684/ I think you’ll like it! There are three more: Jelly Donut, Chihuahua, and Melon! I really like those three! I’m so glad that you originally featured these Meted Lipsticks, I love them, they are my favorite liquid lipstick! I like them because you can wear them with a stain finish or blot with a tissue for a more matte finish! I only have Melted so far but I want to get Sugar and Melon or Chihuahua(I have a jack russell/chi mix!)

  7. Wow really love your eye look that you did with this palette! I wasn’t sure how the colors would really look but I really love most of them! I agree, the Sugar does look so pretty on you! Sometimes pastels can look weird on me as well! I think it will be a good way for me to play with color as you said! I think that you will REALLY love the brand new Melted Shades that just came out on the 14th!

  8. I need that palette and Strawberry and Frosting in the Melted. Hello Spring. Soon. Please!

  9. I love the Blueberry swirl colour but other reviewers found that it was the hardest colour to work with as in it was drier and more matt – did you find this Phyrra? Anyway, this palette is generally too warm for me. I have lots of those sorts of colours already. I think this whole collection is a shade too dark/too warm. I am sure that they would suit a lot of others though.

  10. I want semi-sweet so much. The Strawberry and Velvvet Melted are beautiful. I want those and Villain. Do you have any plans to get Villain?

Disappointing about the bronzers. They look too warm for me, and possibly too dark.

I can wear the foundation OK, but if I were a shade lighter, I wouldn’t be able to. I use it when I need more coverage than BB cream or my loose mineral foundations give.

  11. I thought I could skip the Semi Sweet palette because I have “too many” neutrals, but nope, I need it, definitely.

  12. What a great new collection! I love the heart-shaped compacts but i don’t use bronzer but so cute anyway

  13. I have to ask, how do you get your swatches so perfectly rectangular? It’s very impressive and unique.
