Too Faced Boudoir Eye Shadow Palette Review, Swatches, Tutorials

In the Buff, Satin Sheets, Birthday Suit and Lap Dance were in previous collections. Fuzzy Handcuffs, Voulez-Vous, Sugar Walls, Garter Belt and French Tickler are new shades.

Much like the Summer Eyes Palette (which I LOVE!), the Boudoir Eyes palette boasts a sleek tin design rather than a bulky cardboard box.

Now, let’s talk about the colors. This is very much a workhorse neutral palette. My favorite of the bunch is Garter Belt. It’s the perfect warm grey. It actually works as a dupe of MAC Copperplate for me. I also like In the Buff, because it’s a great base shade in my crease or on my browbone, great for blending out the edge of colors, or a matte highlighter. Satin Sheets is a duochrome, so of course I think it’s pretty. Fuzzy Handcuffs is my sort of perfect beigey-peach lid shade when I want a neutral look. I love French Tickler. Any sort of black with gold, yes please. Voulez-vous, Sugar Walls, Lap Dance and Birthday Suit are shades I can see many of my friends who love neutrals reaching for.

What do you think about the Boudoir Eyes palettes? Do you like the looks that Too Faced created to go with each set of colors?

Products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

  1. These look perfect.  I do makeup for a boudoir studio, so this would be the perfect addition to my kit.  Thanks!

  2. I really like how this one looks! There are many exciting shades in there, and I do wear neutrals more often than anything else. They all look so pigmented and smooth!

  3. Oh, I need this not just for the colors, but for Sugar Walls! I love the early-’80s Sheena Easton reference!!!

  4. Oh these colors are gorgeous, think I am gonna buy this palette, I love nude colors and can´t get enough of them 🙂

  5. the ONE too faced palette I decided to buy was so crappy. wish i’d gotten this one instead *pout*

  6. I’m addicted to neutrals, but I just bought all three of the Benefit boxes (the glamorous nudes, easiest nudes, sexiest nudes) plus i’m moving in three weeks so I’m on a no-buy until after we unpack. If this is still around then, maybe it’ll become mine.

  7. Lap Dance is a shade I reach for constantly. I’d resisted picking this up… But I just might be tempted again next time I’m at our BX.
