Teal Thursday Tutorial

Teal Thursday with Sephora Disney Ariel Storylook Palette

Today I’ve dubbed Teal Thursday. I’ve got a tutorial for you with the Sephora Disney Collection Ariel Storylook Palette. I’ve decided that on Thursdays I’m going to do looks that incorporate Teal in them, since I have so many teal products!

Teal Thursday TutorialHow to Achieve the Look
1. Apply Urban Decay Walk of Shame to the browbone. Then apply Sephora Ariel Treasures Untold to the lid.
2. Use Sephora Ariel Sea Witch on the outer corner of the lid and the outer crease.
3. Add Sugarpill Darling to the inner crease, blending outwards and on top of Sea Witch.
4. Deepen the crease with more Sea Witch. Line the upper lash line and outer lower lash line with Pixi True Teal liner.
5. Line the inner lower lash line with Sephora Ariel Caspian Sea.
6. Add mascara.
7. Line the lower waterline with Nyx Wonder Pencil in Light. Highlight at the inner corners with Sephora Ariel Sick of Swimmin’.

For today’s Teal Thursday, I used 4 different teals. The first is Anastasia Hypercolor Brow Powder in Teal Tornado, which I used to fill in my brows. The second was Sugarpill Darling, used at the inner crease and blended with Sea Witch to create a blue shade in the middle of the crease. The third was Pixi Beauty True Teal liner, used to line the upper and outer lower lash line. The easiest way to incorporate teal into your beauty routine is to use it as a liner for a pop of color. Last, I used Caspian Sea from the Sephora Disney Ariel Storylook Palette along the inner lower lash line.

What’s your favorite way to incorporate teals into your beauty looks?

  1. I *really* like these colours in this layout. I think I’ll see what I can do to duplicate it next time I’m playing around in my stash 🙂

  2. *SWOON* Gorgeous! Ariel would be proud 😉 I am dying to get my hands on that palette!
I loooooove teal for my eyes and nails. Eventually I’m going to do some teal in my hair (like that peacock hair look). Next to pink, it is one of my favorite colors….everything about it reminds me of the ocean and I love swimming (plus I’m a pisces lol)

Thanks for the tutorial! I need one in person someday 😉

  3. this is SO gorgeous, I think it’s my favorite look you’ve ever done! I am so jealous that you already have the ariel palette though. I’m patiently waiting 🙂 But this post convinced me that I NEED sugarpill darling

  4. teal is so gorgeous on you!  Teal is my absolute fave eyeshadow color!!  Can’t wait for the next installment of Teal Thursday!
Speaking of teal, could you please tell me what your favorite teal based nailpolish is??  I have looked high and low for a true teal that makes me swoon but I just can’t find one.  They are either too green based and I am looking for more of a blue based teal.  Hopefully one that is still available to purchase!!  Thanks!

    1. daisygrungegirl *bashful* not Phyrra but how about a-England’s St. George? That’s one of my (many) favorite teal polishes. But I know what you mean–it has to be *just* right!

      1. manicuredslayer daisygrungegirl thank you  manicuredslayer!!!   I googled it and it is so pretty!

  5. I want the Ariel palette so bad.  I missed out on Cinderella and Jasmine and am still bummed about them.  I’m hoping I can get Ariel.
