Burnished Silver

This is more the look that I meant to do last week. I put Meow’s Psychic on my lid for a silvery white effect and Darling Girl’s Mr. Ed in the crease for a coppery peach. This was very simple to do. First I started with TFSI. Then I used a fluffy brush to apply Psychic to the lid. I used an angled crease brush to apply Mr. Ed to the crease. With a highlighter brush I applied Vapour to the browbone and then I used a small smudge brush to apply Vapour to the inner corners of the eye. I applied 24/7 pencil in Flipside to the lower water line and then finished the look with just Lash Blast Volume mascara. I used the Golden Blonde brow pencil to define my brows. […]

Today I put together a look with Mithril, a dirty silver-gold. I added in lots of blues around it. […]

My Christmas Eve Look

For Christmas Eve, I went to a party at my friend’s house with a bunch of my friends. I made lots of red velvet chocolate chip cookies. I played in my eye shadows, a LOT, for this look. Like, I used a million different shadows, all layered, to try and add extra dimension and depth in ways I don’t normally do. Unfortunately, the camera fell flat at actually picking up all the awesomeness. The following image is the only one that comes close to capturing the depth and shadows that were at play. […]

Silver Night

I wanted a silvery-grey look for today. I think this turned out ok, but I need to figure out how to make it better. I think i should have added some matte black in the outer vee for more depth. I love the MAC Veluxe Pearl finish, which is what inspired me to do this look. I wanted another holiday look that leaned silver without glitter. So the two main colors I used in this look, Silver Ring and Knight Divine, are veluxe pearl. For my other holiday looks for this year: Purple & Gold, Green & Silver, Gold, Burgundy & Bronzey-Gold, and Blood & Gold. […]

Bonus Look – Saturday’s Mischief Makers

Saturday I wanted a fairly simple look since I was going to be walking around outside all day. I opted to use a face primer, as well. My makeup stayed in place for damn near 24 hours, since I was up 24 hours, so I was impressed. I decided that a light wash of Fyrinnae’s Mischief Makers would be the perfect thing. I added only a touch of MAC’s Crystal Avalanche at the last moment. I kept my cheeks and lips simple too, but felt like I looked pretty good. […]

iShadow Video Tutorial with Shiro Cosmetics

I made a cute little video tutorial with the lovely iShadow collection from Shiro Cosmetics. I should have probably added a tad more black to the outer lid and crease. Otherwise, these are really pretty colors together. […]

Fyrinnae Cabaret Cupcakes

I really love how this look turned out, though in retrospect I should have put some of Catrina Cabaret onto the outer corner of my lid and the edge of the outer lower lash line. Calavera Cupcakes is AMAZING on the lid. So gorgeous! And of course, I love Catrina Cabaret! I love how it matches with my hair. I think these colors look really nice with my eye color. […]
