Stila Countless Color Pigments Review

Stila Countless Color Pigments Review and Swatches

A while back I saw the Stila Countless Color Pigments and realized I HAD to have them. They’re the first brights that I’ve seen from Stila since the Artist’s Inspiration palette that I loved. I was sent Encore to review and I purchased Light Show and Center Stage on my own.

The Website Says
Stila’s NEW innovative Countless Color pigments in a beautiful and exclusive, first-to-market formula. Each pan is a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind piece of art, created with vibrant pigments and handmade using a proprietary pressing and baking process. Use your creativity and let your imagination run wild. There are endless ways to apply… use each of the three shades individually, blend two shades that are side by side for custom colors, swirl a brush in a circular motion to create one pop shade or swipe the brush across the product to create a unique multi-shade streaked effect.
Use fingers or a foam tip applicator for intense payoff. It is not recommended to use this product wet.

Each shadow is unique, so no two will be alike. If you’re particular about how you want your color to look, you’re better off shopping in person than ordering online. My Light Show, for example, had no yellow in it.

Wearing Light Show
Wearing Light Show. See the tutorial.

You will need to use a small lid brush to access specific colors in the palette. You can also swirl your brush across all of the colors to do a mix of color. In the look above I used different brushes with small brush heads to precisely use the colors in my Light Show. Stila recommends using the shades individually, using the shades in duos (1 and 2, 1 and 3, 2 and 3), dragging a brush straight across all 3 for a streaked look, or swirling a brush in a circular motion over all colors.

Lovin' Stila Light Show
Loving Stila Light Show.

I felt like the colors were very satiny, which I liked, rather than super sparkly. On primer I got all day wear. I had no issues blending the shades together. I also had no allergy issues with these eyeshadows, so that thrilled me to no end!

I love their packaging and how each product has a different colored case. Additionally, having 3 shadows in one package is handy for travel. Cute and portable for the win!

I think the Stila Festival of Color Collection is the best thing that Stila has released in a very long time. You know I absolutely love the After Glow Lip Colors and the Countless Color Pigments fall into that category too. Stila is having a Friends & Family sale right now. Now through June 21 use code FRIENDS13 to save 20% plus free shipping (no minimum). I picked up Rave Red After Glow Lip Color and Finale Countless Color Pigment. I keep thinking I need Melody Countless Color Pigment, too.

What do you think of the Stila Countless Color Pigments? I’m in love!

  1. what lip color are you wearing with the Stila Light Show? It’s such a gorgeous shade on you!

  2. I bought Finale and it is AWESOME. The colours are super bright and it has these bright orange-y coral-y tones in them that I didn’t have anything similar to in my stash!

  3. I recently bought Acoustic and love it! I was really surprised how soft the shadows were because I had read earlier reviews saying they were dry and sheer but I had the opposite experience to that.
Now I want Light Show lol!
