Today I’m sharing my new favorite nighttime moisturizer – the Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer. I received a bottle of this from Paula’s Choice in December and I just purchased another bottle of it because I finished my first one and I did not want to run out.

I started using the Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer towards the end of November and fell in love. I don’t know HOW I didn’t know about this nighttime moisturizer sooner because it’s perfect for my skin!

My skin used to be combo, but after my use of topical rosacea meds, my skin turned more to the dry side. Since then, I always try to find the most moisturizing nighttime moisturizer that I can to use to help my skin. I’ve tried a lot of different Paula’s Choice moisturizers but none have worked as well as the Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer. This moisturizer is very deeply moisturizing and soothing. I use it on my face, eyes, neck, décolleté and hands.

This is the best nighttime moisturizer that I’ve found for my sensitive, rosacea skin. And it’s so affordable! I’ve tried moisturizers that were twice the price that didn’t work as well for me. I’m hooked! When I realized my bottle was getting close to being empty, I hurried to order another (and the Calm Redness Relief Serum too).

My skin has never looked so good. I’m sticking with my current skincare routine for anti-aging, sensitive, rosacea and dry skin and not deviating from it. For me to have mornings where I wake up with little to no redness is amazing.

Have you found your perfect nighttime moisturizer?

    1. Hi, I don’t, sorry. This is the skincare line that I regularly purchase because it works for my skin. they do often have sales if that helps.

  1. I’m so glad! When I saw their Calm/Redness Relief collection I thought of you immediately and I was SO happy-glad that it is working for you. Thanks for the review on this. I’m really happy with my PC routine(the BHA 2% that comes in the Skin Balancing Kit(which is perf for me) really helps with the milia and those pesky post breakout litte redness bumps-and I ordered the Resist BHA Dark Spot and finally the Resist Vitamin C(the last two I just incorporated so I’ll let you know!) but I’m still working on one for my mom, she is 53, she is not “very dry” but can take a lot of moisture, and she needs it around the undereye(I bought her the Resist Eye Cream she is using it but after 3 days said, I don’t see any improvement LOL” I explained to her it doesn’t work that way. She seems to like Hydralight line for Daytime SPF, and cleanser from the samples a lot. (She didn’t like the Resist SPFdaytime), but I think now after reading your review that this would be a great nighttime one for her as well because she really likes a very hydrating PM one.! Thanks! XO By the way, love the new site layout! When I first came to it I was like woah it’s different, but I love it! <3 <3

  2. I purchased this several months ago after reading on their site it was great for someone w/more dry skin as an eye cream. Didn’t work for me around eyes because I am a bad eye rubber even with contacts but oh how I love it alone used w/my prescription tretinion if I go hard core on acids within the same week. And then I love to mix it w/an oil as well so the oil will spread better if that makes sense. PC products are amazing for those of us with sensitive skin and I love that your blog is a place that truly recognizes not only it but so many brands that deserve more spotlight in the beauty industry Your recs for indie brands alone have been amazing. Always appreciate all the work put into your blog!

  3. I have not found my must have brand yet, I like most I have used but still looking. I want to try Paula’s Choice products. They all get great reviews from everyone. It’s on my list of must try! (need to use up others 1st.)

    1. You can always save money with ebates + retailmenot, I always check those sites for coupons before I shop. Paula’s Choice has been my #1 favorite skincare brand for many years. I hope you get to try them!

  4. I share your skin concerns besides your lovely pale skin tone. I’m saving my pennies to buy the Paula’s Coice products you are posting about. Not that the products are ridiculously priced but buying them all them at once will leave a dent in my wallet! Thanks for all you do!

  5. I think when you have the kind of skin issues that you experience, sticking to the products that work really helps. When I finish my current moisturisers, I am going to order this. Thank you so much for your review.

    1. Yeah I’m growing more and more reluctant to try out skincare products aside from Paula’s Choice unless it’s a brand I’ve already used without issue – like Glossier or SuperGoop.

  6. I’m using up some samples and beauty box stuff I have, then I really want to try this brand. Everyone raves about it.

      1. NuSkin works great for me, but my manicurist (whom I buy it from) said it was CF. I recently found out it is in the US, but they “test where required by law” and sell in China. They donate money to end world hunger, and help children, which I like. But I’m entertaining ideas for replacements.

        1. Yeah unfortunately so many companies are selling in China because the money is there. I just received my Paula’s Choice order for the calming SPF 30 and calming non-SPF, so I’ll be testing those out over the next few weeks.

  7. PC will always be my go to skin care line, I use them from head to toe and have for over 10 years!!

  8. I may have to try this too. I use the same moisturizer in the AM as I do in the PM, maybe it would do me some good to switch things up!

  9. I was hesitating between purchasing this moisturizer and their purple one (for very dry skin, I believe). Well oops, I think I made the wrong choice by going with the other one! I LOVE the Paula’s Choice Skin Relief Cleanser from this collection though.
