Recently I had the opportunity to try out several different products from Mychelle Dermaceuticals. My favorite so far has been the Hydrating Cactus Mask. This vegan mask is supposed to be ideal for sensitive skin like my own.

MyChelle Dermaceuticals Hydrating Cactus Mask Review

My Thoughts
I love this mask! It’s got a slightly sweet scent and it’s a light green in color. I’ve used it several times now. It does a great job of moisturizing my skin without irritating it.

It comes in a squeeze tube package, which I really like. No jar packaging!

MyChelle Dermaceuticals Hydrating Cactus Mask Review
After cleansing my skin, I apply a light layer of the mask to my skin, avoiding only my eyes. I’ll then leave the mask on for 20 minutes to an hour, though you can leave it on overnight as well. After I decide it’s time to take off the mask, it just simply washes off. I miss that it’s not one of the types of masks that you peel off, but I love the refreshed and hydrated skin it leaves behind. After washing it off, I put on a serum and then my daytime moisturizer with SPF.

Overall, I feel like this is a fantastic,  hydrating mask.

Pros

  • Cruelty free
  • Gluten free
  • Vegan
  • reasonably priced
  • does exactly what it claims to do – is very hydrating

Cons

  • If you don’t like non-peeling masks, you won’t like this one

Do you prefer masks that you peel off or wash off?
