Favorite Nude Lip Products for Pale Skin

It’s a Makeup Wars Tuesday! For this Makeup Wars we’re sharing our favorite nude lip products. As a pale girl, I find nude lip products can be tricky because if the shade isn’t just right, it washes me out or it looks ridiculously dark and brown. I tend to gravitate towards My Lips But Better type nude shades as opposed to traditional nudes. These are my favorite nude lip shades for pale skin.

  1. Can’t decide which I like best, Native or Naked 2. You look beautiful in all of them; forgot about the Melted Peony, you look beautiful in that shade!! My coloring is quite similar to yours, so I have a good idea of how each color would look on me, I think I might have to go with Naked 2. Next month, I’ll get Native and in August, I’ll get Melted Peony! They may become my 3 favorite nudes!

  2. I think Native and Melted Peony are my favourites on your list! As a fellow vampire, I have generally stayed away from true ‘nudes’ for the same reasons you describe, going for the MLBB’s instead. My favourites at the moment are Revlon Lacquer Balm in Demure and Lip Butter in Peach Parfait, and Bloom Sheer Lipstick in Tangerine. I think, of that list, ‘Demure’ is the closest I get to an actual ‘nude’….

    1. I LOL’d at fellow vampire 🙂 Yeah It just works so much better for our skintones to stick to those types of shades. I know some people also wear mauves with great success too.

  3. I like two of the UD Revolution nudes as well, and I just ordered Melted Peony without trying it on or even seeing it in person, lol. I’m not quite as fair as you but I’m hoping it’ll work out on me too. It looks lovely on you.

  4. I love Urban Decay Native and I also Love WnW Fergie in Fergie Daily and Bebot Love.

  5. I couldn’t find my new UD lipsticks when I went to take pictures so I had to leave them out. It’s funny though that I never considered TF Melted Peony since it isn’t nude on me or at least my perception of it is that it has more color on me than a nude. The Cover FX is so pretty.

  6. It’s so weird how different shades work for different skin types. I am a medium olive and MLBB shades are dark mauves… Plus, my lips are so pigmented that colors never look the same on me that they do on anyone else. I wish I could pull off some of the pretty pinks you have listed. =(

    1. I know what you mean! Some of the ‘normal’ nude shades look terrible on me. I have to use pinks or I look washed out
