we heart this is Currently Craving: a foot mask! I’ve used masks on my hands, face and hair…my feet are feeling a little left out. Sephora has a lavender scented one for just 5 bucks that WILL be mine.
Question: Which holiday makeup collections are you the most excited about so far? And why?
Answer: Urban Decay of course! I love the new Naked Ultimate Basics palette, the Liquid Moondusts, and just about everything else!
UD is definitely my favorite, I love everything in it! I haven’t decided if I want to get the Ultimate Basics palette yet, but definitely a Liquid Moondust, and I love the Blackmail Lip Palette! And then other than that I usually always love what NARS does for post Fall/Holiday(I love their current Fall) But mostly, for my bday(November) and for Christmas, I just plan on getting those splurge items I’ve been eyeing during the year, and there a few current ones, like the Viseart Edit Sculpting(the shades are beautiful-the highlights will be great for fair skin and the deepest contour is a beautiful plum, and the contours are mattes so they will work on the eye. And then some indie beauty like the Sugarpill Pro palette/Fyrinnae pressed shades/more indie beauty. And since I am lacking in the eye brush category the Goss Eye Set is great, and it’s a great value for 5 awesome brushes. But other than that I have not had my eye on any holiday palettes:(
I just can’t think of the holidays yet. It still feels so summery!
I know it’s so hot here where I live in L.A.! I’m not a big holiday collection shopper-with the exception of NARS, so I can’t wait to see what they put out but I love their Fall, but my favorite would be UD’s, I really like the whole collection!
I think Urban Decay for me, too. Most of this year’s releases are boring me.
Totally agree girl! We know that TF’s are the same and the quality isn’t there, the same with the Tarte shadow palettes, I think UD definitely for me too! I haven’t seen NARS’ yet, their Fall Collection is beautiful(for single picks) but otherwise I just get some splurge items that I’ve been wanting during the year, or new stuff that’s a splurge-I’m going to get the Goss Eye Brush Set for my bday in November, and the Viseart Sculpting Edit is so beautiful, so are the Blush Palettes. And then I want to do a Sugarpill Pro Palette so I have those things on my list! Illamasqua has a big sale in January so I might wait for that instead of my wishlist I have there. Also some lippies too. But yes the “holiday’ releases, boring. 🙁 @rachelrunyan:disqus xo
Oooh, the Wayne Goss brushes. Nice! I want to get a filled SugarPill Pro Palette for Christmas.
Yes I think it’s only 2 payments of $48, and then it’s so tempting ahhh they just released the Anniversary Set that has eye and face-and the installments make it tempting, so I’ll have to see if the face brushes in anniversary are those I need-but I totally recommend trying his brushes. The eye brushes are around $25, the precision powder face brush(smaller than the full) is $35, and I have and LTD called The Airbrush, a powder multitasker, for $35. The quality is so stunning! Yes definitely a filled Sugarpilled Pro Palette is on my list! And yesterday I was looking at MELT Cosmetics, they have a new stack with metallics, but a lot of the shades from the other stacks you can get as singles now, and you would love some of those-I thought of you when I saw them!
Their eyeshadows are pretty. I’m a bit wary, though. Their eyeshadows tempt me, but I ordered one of their lipsticks last year, and it was the worst I’ve ever used. Plus, the color didn’t match their pictures at all.
