My Thoughts
The Electric Lip Slides are huge. You get a ton of product for the price, so I feel that they’re a great value. I love the packaging with the doe foot applicator because they’re easy to apply. They do have an odd fruity smell that I don’t like but it fades quickly enough that it doesn’t bother me.

Cheeky Baby reminds me a bit of OCC Nylon. Lip Sink reminds me of MAC Heroine, so this might be a good cruelty free dupe for that shade. Tickled Pink is a bright salmon pink / coral pink type shade that always makes me think of summer.  Skintimacy is a pretty nude peach shade that’s perfect for a smoky eye. Caught in the Act is a bright cherry red. Cupid’s Beau is a dusty pink, but it’s one of those shades that I never like on myself because I don’t feel it brightens my face or is flattering. Currently there are only 10 shades available in the line, so I wish there were a few more, like a vampy burgundy or a teal blue.

The texture of the lip slides is nice because it doesn’t really bleed. I applied it without a clear lipliner and it did not feather on me. It’s very moisturizing. They’re extremely comfortable to wear and they do leave a light stain on the lips. I get about 4 hours of wear with the Lip Slides, and if I don’t reapply you can see a slight bit of color from the lip stain. I love that these are very true to color when worn. They’re very smooth, not sticky.

Overall, if you’re looking for a pigmented, moisturizing but not sticky lip product, you should check these out. Right now is a great time to pick some up since they’re having a 20% off Sale. Use the code SPRING to save 20% until March 31st.

  1. I have Passion Sorbet and I love it, the texture is great, I don’t mind the scent, and it lasts very well without drying my lips out. I also love the name Electric Lip Slide, it sounds sexy and retro, like a 70’s band name! I live in Australia so we’re coming into fall/winter now, I think I’m going to need that purple!!

  2. OMG! I’ve been looking for a ‘Heroine’ dupe since forever!! I just purchased “Lip Sink”, hope it goes well with my NC42 skintone! 😀

  3. I like them all except for the baby pink – that color just never looks right on me! Lip Sink has grabbed me, though!

  4. You listed the fruity smell as a con, but for me it would have been a total pro 😀 ALl of these colors look very pretty on you, especially Tickled Pink.

    1. I’m very partial to vanilla or vanilla caramel for lip products. Fruits can sometimes smell off to me, which is why I’m not overly fond of them. Glad to know it would work for you 🙂

  5. I have Passion Sorbet and love it, and now I want Cupid’s Beau, it looks so, so pretty!

      1. I like Cupid’s Beau, Tickled Pink, and Caught in the Act the best but I’d really like to swatch Skintimacy to see if it would mute my lip color and tone without looking off.
