BftE Voodoo on the Bayou Review

Hi there! I wanted to share the BftE Voodoo on the Bayou Halloween 2013 Collection with you. It’s an LE collection and it’s almost completely sold out! There were only 100 collections made, complete with a cute little fake voodoo doll keychain. Plus, it comes in a cute little sack bag that makes me think of Little Big Planet.

BftE is cruelty free.

Gris Gris
medium fawn brown with subtle blue sparkles

Lagniappe
pumpkin orange with gold sparkles

Marie Laveau
purple with wine undertones, blue sparkles, and when rubbed down golden iridescence comes out

Under Creole Skies
Deep teal blue on a blackened base with teal iridescence and blue sparkles

Bayou St. John
yellow green chartreuse with golden iridescence

Like all BFTE eyeshadows, these colors apply easily, blend like a dream, and they’re super pigmented. I really love Marie Laveau, because it’s so complex. Gris Gris is a fun twist on a neutral with the blue sparkles and would make a great lid shade. I LOVE Under Creole Skies because it’s such a beautiful teal blue. Perfect sort of color for me! Bayou St. John is a fun shade that makes me think of a witch’s brew. Lagniappe is a lovely orange.

This set is a nice value at $27 because it’s worth $32.50, which is almost like getting a shadow for free.
