  1. This is a truly fantastic list of present that you don’t have to break the bank to buy. It must have taken you ages to compile this amazing array of goodies. Thank you so much.

    1. You’re welcome! Mostly I was trying to remember what I’ve used the most of during the year – like my SimpleHuman Mirror that I love to bits – and then trying to find stuff to fit all budgets, then check all the cruelty free gift sets I thought people might like. One thing I often do for friends is build my own gift basket too like I’ll buy some Paula’s Choice serums, some indie bath and body products, some eyeshadows, some of the Too Faced Greatest hits starter sets for primer or mascara, etc.

  2. Wow! So many great choices here! And I love that there are some really affordable options here too. 🙂

  3. I have a question I have been wanting to ask you for a while. What do you do if someone gives you a gift that’s not cruelty free? I told my family my favorite brands (UD, Kat Von D, Deborah Lippmann) so I usually get those brands as gifts. But sometimes my mom gives me makeup that’s not cruelty free. I was just wondering what your stance was on that. Thanks!! 🙂

    1. Hi! I always say thank you. Then it depends what it is. Because I didn’t buy and it’s a gift I will probably use it. But if it’s a product I would never use, I would give it to a friend.

  4. This is so comprehensive! Thanks for separating everything by price bracket – it was super useful!

  5. I have a confession to make, I love all the Too Faced holiday sets. Buy one every single year.

  6. I love that there are so many options to choose from (and something for every budget!)

    1. Thanks! Last year people gave me feedback that breaking things up by price point would be more helpful so I decided that for holiday guides this year I would do that 🙂

  7. Amazing list. I am keeping my Colour Pop in my MelodySusie organizer and loving it.
I’d love about half of the items you chose.

  8. Jeebus! NOW THAT’S A LIST!

That Simple Human mirror is my favorite purchase from the year, I think.

    1. I tried to cover a good chunk of price points 🙂 Ray gifted me that mirror and I love it to bits, too. I use it every single day.

  9. What about it cosmetics travel brush set? I hinted to my sister it would make a good gift
I won’t buy any more eyeshadow pallet until I hit pan in too faced glitter all the way might buy some makeup geek single instead(morocco and coca bear)
