Best Cruelty Free Brow Products

Happy Beauty Top Ten Tuesday! Today I’ve got the best cruelty free brow products to share with you. Brows are important, whether you like subtle brows or strong brows. Unless you have a fringe to frame peepers, your brows typically frame your eyes and draw attention to them.

Best Cruelty Free Brow Products

All products are cruelty free and the products that I know are vegan are denoted as such.

How to Fill in Eyebrows

Lately I prefer natural, full looking brows. I recently created a brow tutorial to show you how to fill in your eyebrows in this style, which I learned from Eugenia Weston of Senna Cosmetics.

1. Senna Cosmetics Sketch-A-Brow Pencil
I will hopefully be reviewing these soon; they’re supposed to be great brow pencils. I believe I tried the shade Light Taupe in the past.

2. Silk Naturals Brow Cream (vegan)
I love these brow creams and I have Soft Black and Medium Ash, so I can custom mix to suit my taste.

3. Nyx Eyebrow Gel
This is what you use if you want a strong, precise brow. Check out my review and all shades here.

4. Too Faced Bulletproof Brows
These brows last through hot tubbing and sweating. See my review.

5. Tarte EmphasEYES High Definition Eye Pencil (vegan)
I really like this pencil and I have the shade Rich Brown.

6. Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse (vegan)
I like the drier texture of this mousse. Check out my review.

7. Life’s Entropy Brow Theory Pomade (vegan)
This is a vegan version of the Anastasia Dip Brow.

8. Paula’s Choice Brow Cream Duo (vegan)
I like this neutral toned creme brow duo.

9. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
I like this pencil for small, fine strokes. I use it with the ABH Perfect Brows.

10. NARS Brow Perfector
I like that this has a soft black option – Suriname. You can see my review and tutorial here.

If I’m using a product that requires a brush, I prefer to use my Anastasia Mini Duo Angled Spoolie brush. I’ve bought 3 of these suckers because I’ve forgotten them twice when I was on vacation in the past and had to run out to buy one to do my brows.

What sort of brow do you prefer? Strong or Soft?

  1. Oh I actually do have a question…I went to the Life’s Entropy site and they have a page where the Brow Theory is listed but they don’t have a purchase link for it. I wonder if it’s because they said the complete new collection will be available on 2/1? By the way, thanks for featuring the Lip Theory in Supernova, it’s amazing, I just got it a few days ago-it was so gorgeous on you when you did the MELT look! @phyrra:disqus

  2. Just saw the NARS Brow Perfector at Sephora, I love that it’s supposed to have a velvety texture:_)

    1. Hi! NARS is cruelty free. Their parent company is not. Here’s their policy:
NARS does not test on animals, nor do we have any other parties, such as suppliers, conduct any animal testing on our behalf. NARS uses only the highest quality ingredients which have a proven safety record and are widely used in the cosmetics industry.

  3. I’d love to try the Paula’s Choice! My dream is to have Anastasia Soure (spelling?) do my brows. Ahhh

    1. Yes, you can actually have her do it if you come to the Beverly Hills store if I’m not mistaken. You’d obviously have to make an appointment in advance! I’ll go next time I’m in the area and see if they have that available and let you know for if you ever come to L.A.!

  4. I meant to check out the NYX when you first reviewed them but I wasn’t brow obsessed like I am now. I’ll have to pick that up this week since it’s 20% off at Ulta now. Right now my favorite is the Paula’s Choice (and Pixi duo).
