The Ayushi Beauty Skincare and Haircare products arrived shrink-wrapped, which is a nice touch. I’m actually thankful for that because one of the small bottles I was sent had slight leakage in transit (the oils solidified around the edge of the cap), but there was no mess when I opened the box and the label had a bit of discoloration. The packaging is simple and see through, so you know exactly how much product you have in your bottle. One thing you will notice is that sometimes there is solid product inside the bottle. This is because of the natural oils used like cocoa butter and coconut oil, which will solidify at room temperature. All you need to do is put the bottle into warm tap water for a bit and then shake the bottle before use.

Ayushi Beauty Anti-Aging Vegan Moisturizer

Anti-wrinkle Organic Lotion – $58 (3.38 oz)
Made with aloe vera and apricot oil, this is a night cream packaged in a pump. I really like that you don’t have to dip your fingers into a jar. The texture is sort of similar to a gel, so it’s not really on the liquidy side, but it spreads easily. It takes a while to absorb into the skin but it absorbs fully and doesn’t leave an oily residue behind. It has a barely discernible scent (to me) that fades super fast. Two pumps cover my entire face. Because the packaging is clear, I recommend that you store this away from light.

Ingredients
Apricot oil, Hazel, Aloe Vera, Cypress oil, Avocado oil, Rose hydrosol, natural borax mineral, Sesame wax, Geranium oil, Myrrh

Ayushi Beauty Vegan ShampooHarmony Bio-degradable Sulfate Free Shampoo

Harmony Bio-degradable Shampoo – $16 (6.76 oz)
This shampoo is made from coconut milk, sunflower oil and cucumber extract. I don’t recognize the scent, but it reminds me of the bubble bath stuff my grandma used to pour for me as a child. It’s pearly white. It has a surprising amount of sudsing action, more than I expected, though it does still end up color tinged from the dyes in my hair. I do feel like this is on the moisturizing side for a shampoo, as it felt really nice in my hair. If you prefer rose scents, Ayushi is coming out with a Rose Shampoo. If you like herbal scents better, they have a Summer Herbal shampoo. You know me, I prefer my foodie scents for shampoos.

Ingredients
Coconut Milk, Cucumber Extract, Vit E, Sunflower Oil with Cocomono Ethanolamide, Coco Diethonolamide, Alpha Olefin Sulfonate, Glycerine, Citric Acid and Demineralized Water

Ayushi Rose Shampoo

Ayushi Beauty Vegan Face Cleanser

Lemon Blossom Face Wash – $22 (3.38 oz)
I love citrus fragrances, especially for facial cleansers. Mostly I’ve tried Vitamin C ones that smell like orange. This lemon smells yummy and it’s non irritating to my sensitive skin, which I was concerned about because of the lye (which is pretty far down in the ingredients listing). They also have a sandal spice face wash, which Ray loved because of the sandalwood scent. They also offer Basil, Rose Garden and Juniper fresh facial washes.

Ingredients
Organic Oils of Rice Bran Oil, Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Organic Extracts of Aloe Vera, Lemon,Organic Essential Oils of Lemon Grass, Teatree, & Bergamot,De mineralized Water, Caustic Lye, Veg. Glycerine

  1. Really interesting scents! I love lemon, so that face wash sounds like something I’d like, though it’s interesting that it contains lye.

  2. These all sound fantastic! I love the smell of roses in skin care, so if I had to try something, it’d be the cleanser 🙂 And those Anna Sui brush/beauty containers are so adorable!

  3. are the black lacquer pieces yours? so beautiful!! I’m not keen on rose scent. But the lemon…mmmmm!
