Ardency Inn MODSTER Manuka Honey Enriched Pigments Review

About Ardency Inn MODSTER Manuka Honey Enriched Pigments
MODSTER Mānuka Honey Enriched Pigments come in a beautiful assortment of everyday and editorial shades with finishes ranging from matte to metallic. Each shade was inspired by the lifestyle of music artists who use makeup as a way of expression on stage and look effortlessly beautiful off stage. Superior color payoff is achieved through sky-high levels of pigments reaching up to 78 percent depending on the shade. High-grade silicon waxes provide ultralong-lasting wear, even without an eye primer.

  • Mānuka Honey: Provides creaminess and glide-on application, as well as moisturizing and soothing properties.
  • Microsphere Copolymer: Provides silky texture and enhances color.
  • Synthetic Wax: Gives a “melting” effect upon application and imparts long-wear properties.
  • paraben free, sulfate free, phthalates free
  • cruelty free

The Ardency Inn website says
In the USA, do not use “Royal”, “Orchid”, “Tangerine” and “Punch” near the eyes. I’m guessing that means these shades are not made with FDA approved colorants. However, I’ve used Orchid and Royal on myself without an issue with my eyes, but you may be sensitive and have an issue, so please use with caution.

Swatched on Coastal Scents Step One Primer.

Ardency Inn Orchid

Orchid
bright fuchsia w/ extreme blue reflects

Ardency Inn Orchid Swatch
My Take
pigmented pinky purple with strong blue-violet iridescence. This reminds me of MAC Stars & Rockets or Urban Decay Fishnet. I love this color and the intense pigmentation.

Ardency Inn Royal

Royal
royal purple w/ red undertones & slight blue reflects

Ardency Inn Royal Swatch
My Take
deep royal purple. I love this hue of purple, especially with my hair.

They are on the slightly more expensive side, as far as single eyeshadows go, since you’re paying $21 for .06 oz as opposed to say $18 for .05 oz from Urban Decay or the new Make Up For Ever Artist shadows (not cruelty free) which are $21 for .07 oz.

Both of these colors have great color payoff and I think they’re beautiful. Because I loved the formula, I ended up ordering another shade, Punch, from Sephora but it hasn’t arrived yet. I think that these are one of the best products that I’ve tried so far from Ardency Inn.

I hope to have a look for you soon with these colors.

Have you tried Ardency Inn? What are your favorite products from the brand?
