Apivita Cleansing Gel Review

Apivita Cleansing Gel Review

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Apivita Cleansing Gel for Oily / Combination skin. This is a cleanser that’s supposed to be gentle, not strip away the skin’s natural oils. It’s got mild antiseptic and antioxidants in it because of its green tea infusion.

A little about Apivita
Apivita was formed in 1989 and was the first natural cosmetics company in Greece. They were inspired by bees. The name means the life of the bee and it stems from the Latin words Apis (bee) and vita (life).

The Website Says
Apivita replaces water in the face cleansing range with green tea infusion to enhance the antioxidant action of the products. Excludes synthetic ingredients that may pose harmful effects to your health and the environment.

My thoughts
I really like this cleanser. It smells citrusy and green, very fresh. It does a good job of cleansing my face and removing my makeup. I wet my face with water, but then use this directly on my face, massaging it in with my finger tips. Then I rinse my face and pat dry. I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I love this cleanser. My t-zone has been less oily, which is kind of crazy considering that we’re already into hot Summer weather here in Florida.

I like the fact that it contains green tea and I feel like you get a reasonable amount of cleanser for the price, especially if you purchase it through Amazon. I’ve got several more products from this company to review and I’ve been happy with them all.

Have you heard of Apivita? Have you tried any of their products?
