5 Best Beauty Buys for Under $10

Trying to put together a list of the best 5 beauty buys for under $10 was challenging! There are so many awesome indie brands that offer amazing products for under $10. Here’s the 5 brands that I ended up choosing, plus a bonus, of course.

Best Beauty Buys for Under $10

This post contains a mix of press samples and products purchased by me.

1. Fyrinnae (vegan)
Some of their liquid matte lipsticks are $10. Their regular lipsticks are $10. Their arcane magic eyeshadows are $7.30 and AMAZING. Their regular eyeshadows are $6.75 and of course the minis are much less expensive. Their Halloween collection is coming out soon! (See more Fyrinnae)

2. Darling Girl (some vegan)
Darling Girl offers so many beautiful eyeshadows it’s hard to pick just a few, but if you press me, I’ll tell you that you need their Ghoul School collection because it’s Monster High Inspired and I helped Susan create it. Their eye shadows range from $2.50 to $5.90, making them very reasonable in price! The multidimensional balm glosses are $5.50 and the lumos highlighters are $8.75. Their Halloween collection will be out soon and I’m reviewing it! (See more Darling Girl Cosmetics)

3. Colour Pop (mostly vegan)
Of course Colour pop is gonna be on my list! Eyeshadows are $5 each, lip pencils and lippie sticks are $5 each. Ultra Matte lipsticks are $6, blushes and highlighters are $8. They make lots of beautiful, affordable beauty. Almost everything is vegan. (See Colour Pop Posts)

4. Silk Naturals (mostly vegan)
Almost every single product that Silk Naturals makes is vegan. Right now I’m loving Close Up, which was inspired by MAC Lightscape MSF (something I treasure) and is only $9.95. Their eyeshadows are a steal at $4.50. The velvet matte lipsticks are a wonderful formula and only $5.99. The blushes are $6.50. They have a lot of vegan clones of popular products like the UD Naked Palettes. (See Silk Naturals features)

5. Makeup Geek (some vegan)
Makeup Geek is one of my favorite brands and they’re usually one of the brands that people find easiest to leave MAC for. Their core eyeshadows are $5.99 each. The foiled eyeshadows are $9.99 each. The blushes, which are beautiful, are $9.99 each. They also offer a lot of great vegan makeup brushes for under $10. I use my Makeup Geek brushes as frequently as I use my Wayne Goss, they’re part of my daily routine. (See brush review, blush review, foiled eyeshadows, and core eyeshadows)

Bonus
For those looking to find nail polish, KB Shimmer polishes are $8.75 or less and Pretty Serious are $7.13 or less, so I’ve got you covered! For more beauty steals check out my best cruelty free makeup for $5 or less!

      1. I was looking for the pans I guess and my skim missed it … thanks! Too much screen time today I guess

  1. I need to really try some MUG – I have yet to try anything from the brand but I’m always swooning over it. It’s hard when you have a love for something already and just don’t want to make a change. lol

  2. Wow.. I haven’t tried Makeup Geek.. but it sounds pretty amazing. A product that compares to mac that isn’t high priced?! Wow. I love a good cruelty free deal. As always.. thanks for sharing. I originally came to this site for a giveaway (which I didn’t win) but I found an awesome beauty site that is different from the rest that continues to impress me. I have found a few new products I LOVE from here! So thanks. Keep writing and I’ll keep coming back for more!

    1. I promise that there are so many brands that provide you with better quality products than MAC and I was a die hard MAC girl for years (1999-2012). If MAC ever goes cruelty free again, I will probably buy some things from them again, but I love knowing that there are products out there with better pigmentation 🙂

  3. Oooh I’ve been looking for ages for a good Lightscapade dupe! A Makeupgeek order is on its way to my house as we speak so I’ll know what I think of them soon enough 🙂

  4. After I was done I realized I left out KBShimmer which I truly love. I’ve just made my third Colour Pop order but haven’t used them enough to include them yet.

  5. You are SO lucky having so many brands that produce excellent products for under $10. Everything here in Australia is much more expensive (as I have complained before). I wish Colour Pop would come here and give L’Oreal et al a run for their money. Milani is pretty inexpensive as well.

    1. So I think (but I could be wrong) that most of these brands ship worldwide. Pretty Serious is an Australian company. (So is Femme Fatale Cosmetics, who I love but didn’t mention here). Colour Pop says on their website that they ship to Australia.

      1. Thanks for letting me know – I had no idea that they shipped to Australia. I will check out their shipping costs – sometimes the shipping is more expensive than the product!

  6. Cheaper products make my pockets happy hah (: I’ve been looking for some decent low budget buys! I haven’t heard of any of these brands except KBShimmer!

  7. There are many great indie/cruelty-free polishes available at or under $10. Not necessarily brands as a whole, but certainly individual polishes from those brands: Different Dimension, Indigo Bananas (which offer nice-sized minis), ILNP (at $10), Elevation Polish, Dollish Polish minis. So much great variety to choose from! I am not sure if I can live my life without MUG and CP, lol.

    1. I agree with you! For this post I mostly focused on eyeshadow and lipstick, but mentioned 2 brands that I knew had polishes for under $10. I do love ILNP 🙂

      1. Oh yeah, sorry I totally understood that, and I really appreciated all the great suggestions for new blush and shadow brands to try! Just letting others know the magic and majesty of reasonable polish indies 🙂
