Today I’ve got the Cult Nails Casual Elegance Collection for you. It’s was sold as a trio of 3 polishes but they’re selling out fast, as there are only 2 of the 3 colors available right now. These colors are limited edition. Let me tell you right now, you NEED Winter’s Light. It’s OMFG so gorgeous.
A gorgeous long wear one coat lilac creme. Dries to a high shine.
a periwinkle with lots of gray tones and some holographic shimmer thrown in for good measure
A buildable and layerable top coat that plays with fine grain glitter in blues and purples in a purple jelly (sheer) base.
L to R – Winter’s Light – Casual Elegance – Winter’s Light on top of Casual Elegance – Intriguing – Winter’s Light on top of Intriguing
I layered Winter’s Light on top of Urban Decay Chaos and I love the results.
Winter’s Light is stunning. It’s beautiful on its own and it’s great for layering. I LOVE the tiny glitters in it. I hope Maria decides to make more polishes like Winter’s Light. It’s so much fun to play with. Thinking back to my favorite Cult Nails polishes, I think they’ve mostly been jellies with glitter in them – Captivated (coral pink jelly with gold flakies), Hypnotize Me (sea green jelly with bright turquoise flakies), Unicorn Puke (purple with flakies), Disillusion (black jelly with magenta flakies), Masquerade (green with color changing glitter), Living Water (deep teal blue jelly), Charlatan (iridescent top coat) Mayhem (holographic top coat), and Nevermore (black creme).
Casual Elegance is a nice creme, great with glitter on top too. Intriguing is a very unusual shade and I’m not surprised it sold out so quickly.
