Happy Teal Thursday! Today I’ve got a review for you of ILNP Washing Ashore. I purchased this polish a little while ago and immediately fell in love with it. Above, I’ve got Washing Ashore on with an accent of Rainbow Honey The Bubbly on my pinky finger.
Founded in 2012, ILNP started out as a hobby that quickly turned into a unique way to express a passion for detail, color, and all things fashion.
$12.50 for 12 ml (.4 oz)
Washing Ashore is an incredibly strong multi-chrome nail polish studded with a unique combination of sparkly goodness. The primary color shift of this polish travels from a glowing teal to a rich and vibrant purple.
To me, this color has a base of teal green with strong teal blue iridescence and hints of purple around the edges. The purple is more apparent in the bottle than on the nail.
One thing I’ve seen people complain about that I thought I would address is the size. These are slightly smaller than average for nail polish. You’re getting .4 oz (12 ml) instead of what I believe is considered the average, .5 oz (15 ml).
Washing Ashore is seriously stunning to wear. When I’ve worn this out, people stop me to ask what’s on my nails. I got 4 days of wear before I saw any chips. For me, the formula applied easily and didn’t pool at the cuticles.
- Great formula
- Cruelty free
- Easy to apply
- Beautiful color
- If you’re expecting to see purple you may end up disappointed
- Smaller than average amount of product for the price
