What I liked about this set
I really liked the brush holder because you can set it up on your vanity and it holds a lot of brushes and you can use both sides to hold them. I’m grateful it’s cruelty-free. I like that the bristles are soft and easy to clean. I like the mix of brushes in the set, as there’s a really good mix of eyeshadow brushes that I use on a daily basis, and I love that there’s a lip brush in the set! The cupcake detail and Elessa Jade name on the handle are cute. It’s a really good price point. The set breaks down to $5.39 a piece.

What I didn’t like about this set
I would have liked to see the name of each brush on the handle. Some of the bristles didn’t feel like they were stiff enough for my taste, specifically with the large powder brush. I wasn’t really sure how to best utilize that brush. Having 3 foundation brushes seemed like overkill to me. I would have loved to have seen a highlighter or finishing brush in place of one of those foundation brushes, maybe the powder brush?

Would I purchase?
Yes. It’s a really good set for the price. They’re cruelty-free and have a cute cupcake logo. The case they come in make it easy for travel or displaying on your vanity. If you’re looking for a set of starting brushes, this is a great set to cover all the basics.
