Saturday when I was in NYC I wore Stila Stingray liner that I received at the Makeup Show Orlando. Sadly, I had an allergic reaction to it. I’m not sure why some of the Stila products cause a reaction and others don’t. I can wear Starfish liner with no problem, but Stingray and Peacock cause my eyes to swell up and burn. When I removed Stingray from my eyes, my skin felt like I had tiny little cuts all over the eye area where I’d applied the liner. I ended up with a nasty headache and having to lay down for part of Saturday. I had this sort of reaction with Stila’s Cobalt Clutch and Purple Pumps Smudge pot, but not Kitten.

There must be a similar ingredient in Cobalt Clutch, Purple Pumps, Peacock and Stingray that I’m allergic to. It really sucks because Stingray looks great with my eye color, but I’ve got other grey eyeliners I can wear that don’t cause an allergic reaction. This is actually why I haven’t used a lot of products that I own from Stila, even though I like their products.

Stila Stingray

In this picture I’m only wearing:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Urban Decay Walk of Shame eyeshdaow
Stila Stingray liner
Pop Beauty Peak Performance Mascara
Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel

I didn’t use any foundation because I felt like my skin was looking pretty good, and I didn’t use any blush, instead letting my natural flush (thanks rosacea) come through.

I wore another Apt. 9 sweater, this time the navy blue one. I really love that color with my hair! The purple sweater is still my favorite, though.

Some products purchased by me. Some products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.
