While I can’t remember what I wore to the Makeup Show Orlando Blogger preview on Saturday, I did remember to snag at least 1 pic each for my looks from Sunday and Monday.

I had two problems with my makeup on Sunday:

  • I think Makeup Geek Corrupt had fallout during the day under my eyes. I had to  wash under my eyes to remove the black, apply concealer with the Graftobian palette, and set it with Crystal’s powder on top.
  • My foundation looked like it separated on my skin. This either means that, despite having used moisturizers, my skin got dry and flaky. Or that the face primer didn’t work well with the foundation. It ended up looking bad in daylight, like it had cracked all over.

Monday I had more issues with my makeup:

  • I had black fallout under my eyes again. This time I’m sure it was from Corrupt. I’m not really sure why that’s happening, but I’ll be sticking to using that color wet in the future. Again I had to wash it off and use the Graftobian palette to conceal and then I set it with Pixi Flawless Beauty Powder in Fair. While I didn’t like Fair as a foundation for me, it’s PERFECT to set the Graftobian cream foundation.
  • Again my foundation looked like it separated on my face. My friend Toni said it looked like my skin was really dry. I feel like, ever since I got diagnosed with Rosacea, that I’m fighting with my skin a lot. I don’t feel like I can exfoliate as often as I like because the medication makes me too sensitive. I’m using Supergoop oil free moisturizer with SPF, and that doesn’t seem to be moisturizing enough some days, but if I use the LaVanila the Healthy Face moisturizer, it’s too much. I can’t seem to find a good in-between for daytime use that’s high spf. Supergoop is SPF 50, LaVanila is SPF 40. I don’t want less than SPF 40.

My foundation actually looked the best on Satuday when I only had on Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation in .5 with a quick spritz of Urban Decay Deslick Spray. All weekend I had someone complimenting me on my cheek highlight, everyone loves how Too Faced’s Candlelight duo looks.

I also got complimented on my lip color for Monday. It’s a good ‘natural’ looking shade on me.

I really should have asked James Vincent what he recommended that I try for my foundation woes.

What do you think of the looks?

Some products purchased by me. Some products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.
