I’m so late in getting this up but I loved the colors and I wanted to share them with you. These are the shades from the Concrete Minerals Valentine’s Day collection.

These are all cruelty-free eyeshadows.

Sweetheart – X’s & O’s – Cupid – Strobelight

These are all on Bare skin. I did a row on bare skin and then I foiled a row with water.

Sweetheart – glittering, soft lilac-pink with multi-dimensional shimmer
X’s & O’s – magenta-purple loaded with copper sparkle
Cupid – shimmering ruby red
Strobelight – chrome silvery-blue (not part of the Valentine’s Day collection)

X’s & O’s is jaw dropping amazing to me. It really is a purple-based magenta with gorgeous copper, pink and gold sparks.

Sweetheart reminds me a bit of Urban Decay Tainted, only it is less purple, more lilac. I love this shade because it can’t make up its mind if it’s pink or lilac. Depending how you look at it its one or the other. The multi-dimensional shimmer in it really makes the color special.

Cupid is a really nice red with red sparks that sometimes look a touch gold/copper depending on the angle.

Strobelight is a deep metallic steel blue shade in the center with lighter silver and shimmer around the edges. It’s really neat how the silver shimmer sits on top of the dark base.

Concrete Minerals shadow formula is really great. The colors are nicely pigmented, they’re easy to blend. They wear well wet or dry. Also, they make a great indie eyeshadow primer. They’re a great product for the price.

If you haven’t tried them yet, what’s holding you back? If you have tried them, what are your favorite shades?

Products were a gift. All opinions are my own.
