Thanks to Milani being one of the sponsors at the March Central Florida Beauty Bloggers Meetup in Orlando, I had the opportunity to try out several of their eye shadows that I’d been lusting over. The colors I received to try out are: Peaches and Cream, Must Have Fuchsia, Antigua, Green Fortune, Golden Touch and Copper Excess.
Baked Eyeshadow Marbles
Peaches and Cream is a great light peach, almost like a creamsicle.
Green Fortune is awesome! It looks like a more pigmented version of Bare Escentuals Urban Nature, as it’s a green with copper and gold and pink threaded through it.
Must Have Fuchsia is an intense fuchsia pink. LOVE!
Copper Excess is a rich penny copper orange.
Antigua is a deeper green with gold and copper sparks. It’s almost a deeper version of Green Fortune.
Golden Touch is such a pretty light golden shade. It’s almost iridescent on the skin.
$7.49 from Milani, but you can also find it at CVS and other fine establishments.
Milani is a cruelty-free brand.
I find Peaches & Cream to really be an eye brightener on me. Green Fortune is such an interesting and complex shade! If you love greens you need it. Antigua is a perfect crease color with it. You knew I’d love Must Have Fuchsia. Bright Pink! So much fun!
The way I swatched these was the left side of the swatch is on bare skin. The swatch on the right side is on primer. The colors have good texture and I like the pigmentation. They actually remind me of mineral eye shadows.
Overall I’m happy with these shades! I’m glad I’ve been able to play with them. I’ve tested them out for wear as single color washes (different shades on each eye, so I didn’t do FOTDs).
Would I purchase?
Yes! I think I need to get Teal the Truth and Mix It Up. I think if you like mineral eye shadow texture but don’t always like the loose formula, you should give these baked eye shadows a try.
Do you like Milani cosmetics? Have you tried their baked eye shadows?
Products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.
