Hocus Pocus

Ok so for today’s look I went very simple, just two colors: Hocus Pocus and Vanilla. I blended the hell outta Hocus Pocus, to make this look really soft. I actually think it’s pretty despite how simple it is. It also makes my eyes look HUGE :) This is something I like. I really think Hocus Pocus is pretty. That reminds me, I picked up a few things from the MAC Blogger’s Collection. I missed out on Jealousy Wakes because by the time I got home from work it was sold out. That made me sad. However, I did pick up Hocus Pocus, All of my Purple Life, Evolution Revolution and Sonoran Rain. Did you get anything from the Blogger’s collection? […]

Thursday Sushi Dinner

This is the look I wore for my birthday Sushi dinner. I wanted a sparkly neutral eye, so I figured Donutella was the way to go. I love this color, but I do hate the fallout from it. I definitely have to apply it, clean up glitter with makeup remover, then do the rest of my makeup when I use it. Oh how I wish there was a non-glittery non-fall out version! […]

Midnight Cowboy Quick Look

This was from June 16th and I found it to be a quick, easy look to put together. I started out by using Too Faced’s Amazing Face Liquid Foundation in Vanilla Creme. It’s got such an exceptional finish, I love wearing it and haven’t worn it much lately. I used just a bit of Peachykeen blush to give my cheeks some flush. For my eyes, UD’s shadow pencil in Midnight Cowboy was quick and pretty. […]

Saturday’s Bright Purple Look

After wearing neutrals all week, I needed brights! So I tried to put together some nice bright colors for this look. I started with TFSI.  I applied Vanilla on the browbone and worked it downwards to the crease. Then I applied Poison Plum to my inner lid, my outer lid and my crease. Then I reached for Mess in a Dress and applied that on the middle of my lid. It didn’t quite pop as much as I wanted, so I applied a bit of Pixie Epoxy towards the center of my lid. While waiting for that to get tacky, I applied a touch of Sugarpill (affiliate link) Love + to the line between Mess in a Dress and Poison Plum. Then I applied more of Mess in a Dress, on the Pixie Epoxy, and then blended the lid carefully. I blended out the crease as well. I next used Cherry to blend out the upper crease area, down towards the inner eye area. I applied Vanilla to the inner lower lash line and inner corners of the eye, and under the brow again. I blended in the crease again, then decided I needed a bit more definition, so I reached for Smolder and used that at the outer v area. I blended again and applied more Poison Plum, and then blended some more. I applied Aqua Liner in 7 to the outer lower lash line, extended the line and then the upper lash line. I used Poison Plum to define my brows. I applied the 24/7 liner in Midnight Cowboy to my lower water line, though if I did this look again I’d use Perversion instead. I used Diorshow primer on my lashes and then topped it with Lash Blast Luxe mascara. […]
