Here’s what came in my mail today :)

This is from Medusa’s Makeup.
I wanted to pick up some brushes and give them a try because they’re bright pink. They’re supposed to be cruelty free brushes as well. The brushes were $25 ($10 off from their original price of $35), so they were $5 each, which isn’t bad. Right now, if you purchase this brush set you can get $10 off, so not bad. I purchased these brushes and the following shades:
Cupcake – (med) sparkle light pink
Pretty in Pink – (light) shimmery true pink
Coral Reef – (high) thick rich true coral
Mary Jane – (med) shimmery medium jewel tone green
Purple Rain – (med) shimmery bright royal purple – this was forgotten in my order, but I called Medusa’s Makeup, got a nice lady on the phone, and she said it would be out in the mail tomorrow. It’s nice that even though mistakes can happen with an order that they’ll fix it right away.

Fluff – for blending color and applying an overall base color
Contour – comes to a point and is excellent for adding contrast color to the crease
Shadow – great for lid
Angle – exactly what you need to create thin or thick lines
Smudge – perfect for smoky eyes

I’ll be playing with the brushes and seeing how they work for me.

This is from Silk Naturals. I liked the eye shadows that Silk sent me, so I decided to purchase these.
Cruise – (clone from Smashbox muse) muted medium blue
Fairy Dust – light shimmery gold green pink
Lime – matte light lime green
Nekkid – (clone of MAC Naked Lunch) shimmery pink
Unique – free shadow that looks like a taupe shade
Cider (sample) – warm golden blush
Sultry – (clone of MAC Brick-o-la) mid-tone berry (amplified creme)(vegan)
Daydream (sample) – light pink with pink pearl (vegan)

I picked this up from Target last night actually.
The Soap & Glory Spa Body butter in Blueberry Thrill was on clearance for $7, when it is normally $14.99.
I love the look of the black barrettes, but I tried to wear them today and my hair is not thick enough on the sides to keep it from sliding, which is annoying. Still I love the look and I can probably get it to stay if I use a bobby pin.
